The place was overall clean, I booked the queen room with views of swimming pool, everything was perfect. Favourable location and helpful staff were a definite plus. There were a large shopping mall and a small shopping mall around the hotel.

The Holiday Inn Express in Tapachula had some solid strengths. The pool provided a much-needed relaxing spot after a hectic day. The gym equipment seemed decent, but I noticed one of the treadmills was out of order. Breakfast options were convenient, but an improvement would help set the scene for a better start to each day. I appreciated the location near nearby restaurants and malls. There were notable inconveniences with water availability , which lasted more than two hours, and receiving buckets of water felt far from ideal. The place had its charm, but attention to certain details is necessary to enhance the experience further.
